IT Team Lead and Information Security Officer

Job Description

As the IT Team Lead and Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for managing a technical support team that provides assistance to the organization's internal users. You will have overall responsibility for handling routine and complex IT issues, as well as full responsibility for information security and data privacy across the company, including:

• Policy Definition: Develop and implement comprehensive information security and data privacy policies aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Regular Audits, Monitoring, and Enforcement: Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify and remediate potential security risks. Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a secure IT environment.
• Risk Management and Cyber Incident Response: Manage, identify, and proactively address information security risks and cyber threats. Effectively respond to and investigate security incidents to minimize their impact and prevent future occurrences.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors. Provide regular updates on security posture, risk mitigation strategies, and incident response efforts.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with IT and security vendors, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with the organization's security objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy regulations.
• End-to-End IT Infrastructure Management: Manage, operate, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers. Ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability of IT systems.
• Hands-on Technical Expertise: Combine strong leadership skills with hands-on technical expertise to troubleshoot complex IT issues and implement security solutions.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the following areas:
• IT Team Management
• Information Security and Data Privacy Management
• Good English and Hebrew writing communication skills
• Fluent Hebrew communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Proven ability to manage and maintain firewalls, WAFs, routers, VLANs, managed switches, and VPNs
• Expertise in managing and maintaining Microsoft servers in an Azure environment, including Microsoft 365 and endpoint hardening
• Experience with Linux server administration
• Familiarity with SIEM systems
• Experience in implementing and maintaining information security tools, including EDR and DLP solutions
