Algorithm Engineer

A Cyber Security company for IoT has developed a software platform that provides a clear picture of devices on a network by identifying and classifying them. The primary target audience of the company is infrastructure and home internet service providers worldwide who currently struggle to identify the devices on their network to offer services to their customers, such as cybersecurity, parental controls, and browsing services.

The company's technology operates entirely passively (without the need to identify users or store such information), and their products are deployed in millions of households in the US.

The role is part of a team working on classic ML and signal processing in the areas of Network data research, Physical layer, Wireless communication protocols, Statistical analysis, and coding in Python with NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, PyTorch, SKlearn, Wireshark, and SQL.

The company is located in Tel Aviv near a train station, with two work-from-home days per week. They have tens of thousands of employees worldwide, including 50 at their development center in Israel.

The company was recently acquired by a major American communications company and is publicly traded.

Requirements-

• Three years of experience as a algorithm developer
• BSc in an analytical field (CS, ECE, Stats, Math, or related fields) from a well known university
• Theoretical background in classic Machine Learning / Statistics
• Experience with network data research, including physical layer of wireless communication protocols
• Proficient in Python and common Python libraries, such as NumPy, pandas and matplotlib.
• Proficient in SQL.
