Documentation Engineer

Responsible for information and engineering documentation

A company that manufactures dosing pumps, connectors and flow products for a wide range of industries, and from the Caesarea area, an engineering documentation manager is needed, reporting to the VP of Development and Engineering, to lead all information management processes and engineering documentation in the company. The position requires excellent communication with all departments in the company.

Responsibilities and job description

Responsibility and management of the engineering information in the PDM system

Managing the administration of the PDM system

Defining permissions and processes in PDM

Building product trees

Assembling models of subways and trains

Responsibility for establishing product trees and updating the ERP

Writing assembly and testing instructions for products

The configuration of these instructions

Training the production and quality personnel

Defining markers for new products

Manage the configuration of the machines

Management of engineering change processes

Responding to customer requests, 3D models

Preparation of information, explosion drawings and instructions for the end user

requirements

Mechanical engineer or practical mechanical

At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an industrial company - mandatory

Good command of Solidworks, Office, PDM, Composer software

Recognition and experience working with ERP

English (reading, writing and speaking) at a good level

Experience in leading projects - an advantage

Work habits: order, self-organization and time management ability

Ability to work independently and high learning ability

Excellent teamwork and human relations
