Assistant Controller

We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join our Finance team and support our ongoing global expansion. In this role, you will engage extensively with the Mesh Platform and assist the finance department in maintaining clear visibility of our financial status. This position demands high responsibility, strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.

What Will You Do

• Record day-to-day financial transactions into the company's ERP (NetSuite) and complete the posting process.
• Manage prepaid expenses and amortization schedules.
• Collaborate daily with the Mesh platform to streamline expenses and serve as the primary contact for employees using the platform.
• Contribute to improving data flows, optimizing processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial outputs.
• Analyze financial data from various sources to build reports supporting the team’s activities.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accruals.
• Assist in the reconciliation of inter-company balances and transactions.
• Compile information for external auditors and tax advisors for the annual consolidated audit and tax returns across all locations.
• Manage fixed assets, including additions, deductions, and depreciation journal entries.
• Reconcile all general ledger accounts, prepaid expenses, and accrued expenses.
• Take on additional responsibilities for special projects as needed.

What Should You Have

• Degree in Accounting and CPA license - required.
• High proficiency in English, both verbal and written - required.
• Advanced expertise with Excel - required.
• Experience or familiarity with data management - preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite - preferred.
• Experience from one of the Big 5 accounting firms - preferred.
• Understanding of Israeli Tax Laws and VAT reporting guidelines - preferred.
• Experience working in a multi-currency environment - preferred.
• Knowledge in consolidation reports and business combinations.
• Strong understanding of both financial and operational controls.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
