Medical Device Validation Engineer

As part of our R&D Engineering team, you will work closely with our Quality and Manufacturing teams to develop the latest tools and technologies to address significant, unmet clinical needs that impact patients’ lives around the world.

How you will make an impact:

• As Principal engineer you will have a chance to lead a small team of expert engineers and technicians, as part of TMTT business unit, Working closely with global R&D and testing teams.
• Design and execute bench tests as part of R&D projects: Collect inputs from project team members, Translate to design spec. Design test systems, Run tests and validate the systems.
• Lead, coordinate and participate in Cadaver studies and in Animal studies.
• Perform research activities (Review and search for clinical papers and publications)
• Collaborate and work closely with QA on systems validation, test plans, test method validations and studies protocol and reports.
• Interface with USA headquarters (Travels and phone-calls); Travels 1-3 times a year; Phone-calls take place in the evening time.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Bio-Medical Engineering or equivalent
• 5-7 years of R&D experience in the industry (Preferred in the medical field)
• Leading and managing activities, tasks and people (Formal or unformal)
• Anatomical knowledge and understanding
• Independent, versatile & Self-motivated
• Hands-on & Technical intuition and understanding
• Team player & good interpersonal relations
• Organized and methodical
• Fluent English (oral and written)
• Basic Statistical knowledge
  
  

• Advantage: Experience in the cardio-vascular field
• Advantage: Fluid Dynamics knowledge and experience
• Advantage: CAD modeling (SolidWorks) experience
• Advantage: Advanced Statistical knowledge (DOE, ANOVA, etc.)
