Data Community Support Specialist

A global Hi-Tech company located in Ness Ziona (near a rail station) is looking for a Data Community Support Specialist!

1. Front End:

· Provide front end code review of BI applications (Tableau- must, PowerBi & ThoughtSpot- advantage).

· Code review and optimization of automation scripts (Python, R, VBA, SQL).

· Code review of data processing.

· Tier 4 for BI reports, including:

o Optimization of business Data Sources (DS)

o Lead Tableau Server optimization task force: work with business focals and Tableau admin to enhance server efficiency, reduce latencies.

o Review of support tickets with the L3 team for continuous improvement + implement solutions across the business according to best practices.

o BI Performance Monitoring, including leading regular reviews of workbook usage with Data Champions.

2. Comparative Analyses: Perform Comparative Business Analysis (CBA) between front end BI tools, as well as Data automation solutions for BI and AA.

3. Community Website Management: Manage the community internal website, ensuring content is up-to-date and accessible.

4. Collaboration and Training:

· Govern best practices and standardization of visual language.

· Facilitate collaboration between Data Champions.

· Create Data training paths based on roles and responsibilities (BI & AA)

· Manage courses’ follow-up on participants, working closely with Data Champions.

Qualifications:

· Advanced experience in Tableau front end (Minimum of 3 years) – must

· PowerBI knowledge- advantage

· Proficiency in Python, VBA, SQL – must (R advantage)

· Familiarity with data governance, analytics best practices.

· Familiarity with Server Performance (SQL, Tableau)- advantage.

· Strong knowledge/interest in technology and analytics.

· Relationship builder and community connecter - Be an excellent communicator- must.

· Experience in leading and influencing others.

· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

· Fluent in English.
