QA Engineer

Here at ChargeAfter, we are building the next unicorn in the Fintech industry and are looking for a talented and success driven QA Engineer to help make it happen!

Responsibilities

• Own planning and executing test schedules and strategies, with a primary emphasis on early involvement in the development process, utilizing shift left methodologies
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, integrating testing activities from the initial stages of development.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs, with a strong focus on early defect identification and resolution
• Test projects from inception to completion, actively participating in requirements gathering and design phases to ensure testability.
• Gain hands-on experience with Cloud and Virtual technologies, leveraging these environments to facilitate early testing and validation efforts
• Collaborate closely with R&D and ChargeAfter customers, providing proactive feedback and validation throughout the development lifecycle
• Assist in reproducing issues and work with internal teams to provide resolutions/knowledge transfers, prioritizing proactive problem-solving and early defect resolution

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a strong focus on shift left testing methodologies
• Expertise in tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA, with a particular emphasis on early testing and validation techniques
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, Postman, JSON, with a focus on integrating API testing into the development process
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
• Customer-oriented with excellent customer service skills
• Fluent with English
• B.Sc. in Software Engineering or equivalent

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Agile teams, with a particular emphasis on integrating testing activities into Agile development cycles
• Interest in financial markets and eCommerce
• 2+ years of experience in writing automated tests with Cypress\Puppeteer\Protractor\Selenium.
