Cyber Security Researcher

A cybersecurity startup company, which has developed a system that connects to various security products within an organization via API, collects data on the tools' performance – what goes in, what goes out, configurations, and rules – identifies gaps, and provides recommendations based on threat coverage and organizational infrastructure.

The CEO of the company has already made an exit with another company for $105 million and they are currently completing Round A expansion.

The role is to join a team of 4 under the team leader's supervision.

Located in Tel Aviv (railway line), they operate on a hybrid model allowing 3 days remote work per week. The team consists of 45 employees.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience as a Security Researcher / Security Engineer

• Understanding of technical terminology, tools, and tactics employed by threat actors

• Basic understanding of security analytics technologies (SIEM, XDR, etc.)

• Proven track record of work with MITRE ATT&CK and ability to develop threat models based on the framework

• Understanding of technical terminology, tools, and tactics employed by threat actors.

• Basic experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-premises systems (Security products).

• Creativity, innovation, self-motivation, strong desire to learn.

• Creative and pleasant personality.

• Fluent English and Hebrew
