Information Technology Security Specialist

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer to join a global airline company

What you will do :

As an IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for

1. Security Architecture and Design

• Develop and implement secure architecture designs for systems, networks, and applications to ensure they meet security requirements and compliance standards.

2. Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing:

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in the organization's infrastructure and applications.
• Analyze the results and work with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve security measures.

3. Security Solutions Implementation:

• Implement and configure security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), endpoint protection, encryption, and secure network protocols, to protect against cyber threats.
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams to integrate security solutions and ensure optimal performance and effectiveness.

4. Security Incident Response and Management:

• Develop and maintain incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks to swiftly and effectively respond to security incidents.
• Lead incident response efforts, conduct post-incident analysis and propose improvements to prevent similar incidents in the future.

5. Security Compliance and Policies

What you will bring :

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Proven experience in IT security engineering, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, encryption algorithms, and threat intelligence. - Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and secure coding practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Understanding of networking principles and operating systems security.
