CFO - Strategic and Business-Driven Executive

A leading startup in the Ag-Food Tech sector, pioneering the future of agriculture and global fresh nutrition security, is seeking an Executive CFO with a strong business development orientation

As we are poised to break into the market and forge strategic partnerships, we are looking for a candidate who can lead the following key objectives :

1. Fundraising and Investment Banking: Negotiate and sign an agreement with a leading US investment banking company to lead our next fundraising round (Round B)
2. Strategic Partnerships:

• Leading the strategy and exsecution for identifying, targeting, and engaging the most relevant potential strategic partners and investors
• Analyze selling points and value propositions to create interest that results in collaboration with targeted strategic partners
• Secure agreements with a distributor strategic partner for distributing our vegetables and selling in retail stores.
• Establish a partnership and sign long-term agreement with a farm operator who will own and manage farms.

1. legal permits and guidelines for farm operations, business setup, and employee hiring.
2. Sales and Legal Compliance in the US:

• Manage financial issues related to selling fresh produce in the US, ensuring adherence to state-specific legal guidelines.

1. Employee Relocation:

• Lead financial matters related to the relocation of Israeli employees, including working visas and other legal considerations.

Required Experience:

• Strategic and Business-Driven Executive CFO: Over 10 years of experience in financial, business, and strategic leadership within international technology growth companies, particularly venture-backed private companies.
• Leadership in Exits and M&A: Proven track record in leading exits and M&A transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
• Capital Investments and Debt Financing: Experience in leading capital investments and debt financings exceeding $100M.
• Comprehensive Management Skills: Proficient in managing finance teams, investor relations, legal, operations, purchasing, commercial and strategic negotiations.
• Collaboration with Leadership: Experience working closely with CEOs, management teams, boards of directors, investors, investment banks, and analysts.
