Senior Electrical R&D Engineer

InZiv was founded in 2018 to address the critical quality assurance needs facing today’s most advanced display manufacturers, by developing highly specialized inspection equipment using proprietary nanoscale optics and metrology. The company’s portfolio extends to microLED, QLED and OLED technologies with the goal of providing state of the art tools for improving the manufacturing process and lowering production costs.

We are growing (!) and seeking a professional and passionate Senior Electrical R&D Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will design, bring up, and validate all HW-related subsystems and signal delivery integrity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research scientists, sensor designers, and characterization experts to develop the sensor characterization solution and ensure flawless integration tests at the subsystem and system level.
• Simulate and optimize developed electrical systems to meet low noise and signal integrity requirements.
• Design and execute test plans to verify that the developed electrical and power subsystems meet the design specifications.
• Work closely with and manage suppliers to ensure all design requirements are specified and achieved.
• Produce high-quality documentation packs (including electrical block diagrams, cable lists, pin-to-pin, etc.), often to customer-specific templates.

Requirements

• BSc or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 10 years minimum of hands-on experience in multi-disciplinary systems and the semiconductor field.
• Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals (analog/RF design, Optoelectronics design, signal/power integrity, etc.)
• Proven track record in electronic circuit and hardware design, including signal integrity, power integrity, low-noise mixed signal circuit design, PCB layout, circuit board debugging, and validation.
• Good understanding of worldwide electrical regulations with the ability to work with 3rd party regulators.
• Can work both autonomously and as part of small and extended teams.
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight timelines.
• High level of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic startup environment.
• Availability to travel abroad.
