Full Stack Engineer

Opmed.ai is an innovative startup dedicated to improving the efficiency and resilience of healthcare operations. Our mission is to help healthcare providers deliver better patient care by optimizing planning, scheduling, and operations using AI, Network science, and advanced optimization algorithms. We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Herzliya, Israel.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our SaaS solution for healthcare providers and ambulatory surgery centers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our SaaS platform using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build user-friendly and scalable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 4 years as a full-stack developer in a fast-paced R&D environment with the ability to develop features end-to-end.
• Backend Development: Minimum of 4 years with Python or Node.js.
• Databases: Demonstrated hands-on experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Frontend Development: At least 3 years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and state management libraries such as Redux, along with proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Cloud Environments: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native software development.
• API Development: Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Team Player: Enjoys working in a dynamic, business-oriented environment.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Office Presence: Ability to work at least 3 days from the office.

It will be great if you have:

• AWS Managed Services: Familiarity with services like EKS, SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Medical Applications: Experience working with medical-oriented applications.
• DevOps: Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, Serverless architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Open Source: Active involvement in open source projects.
• Education: Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
