Embedded SW engineer

Company Description

Drone-Lander is a privately-owned startup company located in Centre District, Israel, that was established in 2022. The company is developing essential components for the future drone market, utilizing smart materials, mechanics, electromechanics, and software, among other technologies. We recently completed our first financing round and are accelerating our activity to complete our first-generation product development.

Flight Control Engineer Responsibilities

·        Flight control configuration and optimization

·        Integration of sensors, inertial navigation units, communication modules and onboard processors to flight controllers

·        Configuration of ground control stations

·        Onboard processor coding

Qualifications

• SW engineer, Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science
• Knowledge and experience with flight controllers (preferable for drones)
• Experience with Pixhawk, Mavlink, PX4 or Ardupilot
• Experience with onboard processors

Ø Self-study ability, problem identification, problem solving, prioritization.

Ø Good interpersonal skills

Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hebrew

Ø Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Ø A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
