Privacy Consultant

PrivacyTeam is leading the Privacy consulting and DPO space in Israel, working closely with many of our country’s tech unicorns, hyper-growth companies, and 1st-tier startups you’ve heard about. We also recently expanded to Australia, and are making strides in the US tech scene. And yeah, we are only getting started.

As our team continues to grow and evolve, we’re looking for brilliant, funny and impact-driven humans to join our team as Privacy Consultants.

What will you do?

The Privacy Consultant will work independently as a specialist - but at the same time as a trustworthy and impactful team member, consulting clients on privacy and regulatory matters, creating and managing their ongoing privacy compliance program.

Among others, you will:

Grow to manage your own portfolio of clients in collaboration with other PrivacyTeam members;

Harness your regulatory, technological, product, marketing and business savviness to find the best privacy-oriented solutions for our clients;

Explore and research angles of global privacy regulations and connect them to the innovative products and services our clients provide to their customers, finding creative and simple solutions to complex challenges;

Read and write professional content, draft privacy and data protection documentation, take part in international negotiations and hop on transatlantic conference calls;

Frequently engage and interact with fascinating individuals who have invented or are working on world-changing solutions, and find ways to add value through your privacy expertise;

Have an opportunity to impact amazing products, services and processes – and ultimately the privacy of hundreds of millions around the world.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a legal counsel, expert advisor, or compliance specialist (preferably in or for the tech sector), practicing international privacy or tech law, drafting data processing addenda and privacy policies, and providing clients or colleagues expert advice on relevant topics (privacy, intellectual property, tech and the like).

The Privacy Consultant knows how to go well beyond the legal realm, with in-depth understanding of the client’s products and services, and most importantly - their needs, psyche and objectives - in order to provide the most suitable and practical solution.

An experienced privacy/legal counsel, big-firm advisor, or compliance specialist?

Our Israeli office is located in the Alon Towers in Tel Aviv - within walking distance to the HaShalom train station and other major transportation routes, with plenty of food/beverage options just outside our building. Most of our Israeli clients are in the Merkaz area, but there is a great deal of flexibility to meet our team members’ needs - in the scope of the job, working hours (early birds and night owls are both welcome), and in the location: we are hybrid FOR REAL and have been long before pandemic days, with just one mandatory day a week of "let's all come into the office and enjoy being together", whilst otherwise you can work from home, cafes, the beach, or even from abroad if you fancy a workation here and there.
