Seeking Experienced Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing cutting-edge robotics software for our robotics systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging firmware for ST microchips, specializing in LoRa communication and motion control functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software for ST microcontrollers (STMs)
• Implement LoRa communication protocols for low-power wide-area networking
• Develop algorithms for motion control applications - a plus
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware
• Participate in code reviews and identify potential improvements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in embedded systems, LoRa communication, and motion control technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in embedded software development for ST microcontrollers
• Strong understanding of embedded systems programming concepts, including memory management, interrupts, and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
• Solid knowledge of LoRa communication protocols and their implementation
• Experience with motion control algorithms and sensor interfacing (e.g., accelerometers, gyroscopes)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
