We are seeking a skilled Backend Team Lead to lead our team of backend developers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend systems that power our cybersecurity solutions. As the Backend Team Lead you will play a key role in driving the technical direction, architecture, and implementation of our backend infrastructure, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to drive the successful delivery of backend projects and initiatives.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, scope, and timelines for backend development projects, and prioritize tasks and assignments accordingly.

- Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs using modern technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our backend infrastructure by implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, and conducting regular performance tuning and optimization.

- Champion software engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development methodologies within the team, and ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and documentation practices.

- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and trends in backend development, and recommend innovative solutions and approaches to improve our products and processes.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone can thrive and grow.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Proven experience as a backend developer, with at least 3 years of experience in backend development using languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and frameworks such as Django, Spring, or Gin.

- Strong leadership skills and experience leading and mentoring teams of software engineers in agile development environments.

- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices, and hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
