A Day in the Life

The Lab Service Technician repair medical devices and subassemblies according company procedures and standards, In rare cases, the Technician may be required to repair products in the field at the Customer site or at a Repair Center in another country.

Additional activities you will be responsible for:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, calibrate and repair assemblies and subassemblies at the Repair Center
• Proactively initiate corrective and preventive actions if required
• Document in a professional manner all the activities performed in the Repair Center including details of the repair, parts consumed, testing performed and time to improve efficiency
• Support Complaints and R&D investigations

Must Haves

• Technician or Practical Engineer in Electronics
• Laboratory experience
• Reading, writing and speaking Hebrew & English at a good level is mandatory
  
  

Nice to Haves

• Laboratory experience from a Medical device company
• Experience with ERP software, Priority, SAP experience is an advantage, MS Excel experience
• Medical device or other regulated industry experience Service/Operational role is an advantage
• Understanding of laser, robotics technology and precision mechanics, step motors, encoders, instruments and control is an advantage
• Experience repairing interdisciplinary assemblies (laser, mechanical and electrical)
• Knowledge of operational systems, techniques and practices typically gained through extensive experience
