HW QA Engineer for one year

As a HW QA engineer, you will be part of the Controls R&D Team and will take part in the development process of advanced controllers for

the Semiconductor market and other advanced markets. Your focus will be on the Validation and Verification process (V&V), in cooperation

with the design engineers.

Job Description

• Participate in the design, characterization, and system integration of new MKS products.
• Define test plans to validate design verification, reliability, in-circuit-testing and functional testing based upon design
• documents.
• Troubleshoot and isolate problems in laboratory equipment.
• Use sophisticated computer programs and diagnostic equipment to test performance according to descriptive instructions.
• Collect and analyze technical data, summarizes results.
• Interface with multi-disciplinary design engineers to ensure successful software and hardware integration.
• Preform Radiated and conducted EMI tests in our lab and external certification laboratories as well as environmental testing.
  
  

• BSC in Electrical Engineering or practical engineer.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in the industrial domain.
• Experience with engineering data collection and report generation.
• Experience with precision analog board testing and integration.
• Experience of conducting CE/FCC or similar EMI tests at certification labs.
• General knowledge of Ethernet networks. Experience with fieldbus communication is a plus.
  
  

• Ability to utilize standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and power meters with little to no direction.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, electrical schematics, maintenance manuals and engineering documentation.
• Ability to use data acquisition & processing software.
• Good oral presentation skills and ability to effectively present results in team meetings.
• Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.
• Result driven personality with high sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
