Cyber Security Engineer

As a Cyber Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to defend against cyber threats and protect our clients' critical assets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop strategies, and deploy advanced security measures to safeguard our clients' infrastructure, applications, and data from cyber attacks.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their cybersecurity requirements, assess their current security posture, and identify vulnerabilities and risks.

- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions and architectures tailored to meet clients' specific needs and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate security weaknesses and gaps.

- Develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time, and conduct forensic investigations to identify the root cause and impact of security breaches.

- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams on cybersecurity matters, and facilitate security awareness training and education programs.

- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques, and recommend proactive measures and countermeasures to mitigate risks and enhance security posture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Proven experience as a Cyber Engineer, Security Engineer, or similar role, with a strong background in cybersecurity technologies, tools, and practices.

- In-depth knowledge of network security, endpoint security, cloud security, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.

- Hands-on experience with security assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit), SIEM solutions, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and experience implementing security controls to achieve compliance.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

- Effective communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
