Economist for the Models and Derivatives Unit, Risk Management Department 

We are seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates to join our team.

Job Description

Development and implementation of models and methodologies for estimating exposures to risks and/or managing/minimization of such exposures; examining the quality and reliability of existing models and their actual outputs/results; supporting the business departments; performing complex calculations and analyses regarding projections and TASE group's models; and performing additional tasks that are under the responsibility of the Models and Derivatives Unit and/or the Risk Management department.

Experience, Skills, and Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in economics/statistics/mathematics (required).

· Relevant master's degree (advantages).

· Three years of relevant experience (advantages).

· Fully proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced proficiency in Excel.

· Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.

· Robust writing skills in Hebrew and English (required).

· Familiarity with the Israeli capital market, including derivatives and the financial system (required).

· Familiarity with statistical and/or financial risk management models (VaR, Backtesting, etc.) (significant advantage).

· Familiarity with international financial and capital markets (advantages).

· Strong ability to analyze information and draw conclusions.

· Detailed-oriented, organized, accurate, thorough, and efficient.

· High work ethic, willingness to work hard, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.

· Ability to learn and work independently, as well as the ability to work within a team and maintain superb interpersonal relations.
