Marketing Content Manager

Flytrex is revolutionizing on-demand delivery in the suburbs using drones; working closely with some of the world’s largest food corporations and restaurant brands, Flytrex is turning science fiction into reality every day!

Operating in North Carolina and Texas, we’re aiming to expand our operation nationwide, and looking for a hands-on and practical Marketing Content Manager to join our awesome team and help us formulate and outline the way in which Flytrex communicates itself and its product to best reach new customers and retain existing ones.

In this role, you’ll be working with teams across the company (and across countries) to create valuable content to promote our service.

We’re looking for someone who is both creative and visionary, as well as a roll-up-the-sleeve executor. An individual who is well-organized and detail-oriented as much as s/he is imaginative and inventive. A strategic thinker who can plan ahead and carve Flytrex brand voice. Someone who can say a whole lot, in just a few words.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing the Flytrex marketing strategy, growing our presence across all channels.
• Creating engaging content for social media and posting on a regular basis.
• Writing compelling copy that will generate signups to our service and boost sales.
• Work with the design, product and marketing team to bring marketing materials to life and produce professional-grade assets.
• Write compelling copy for newsletters, ads and for Flytrex website.
• Managing hyperlocal offline marketing efforts in the areas surrounding our drone delivery stations, and at new locations.
• Producing promotional videos with our production partners.

Requirements and skills 

• Proven experience as a Content Writer, or similar role.
• Proven experience working with design teams.
• Up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing across all platforms.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
• Knowledge of traditional and digital Marketing Strategies and Procedures. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables.
• Familiar with Facebook Marketing Manager, Google Ads or similar platforms.
• Experience working with design tools such as Photoshop, Figma, Canva or similar
• Native English speaker - a plus.
• Experience with Hootsuite or similar - a plus.
• Experience with Intercom Engage tools - a plus.
• Experience designing and developing newsletters - a plus.
• Vast understanding of the food industry and its trends, and a good understanding of marketplace apps/e-commerce platforms in general - a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field - a plus.
