DevOps Engineer

A successful biotech company is lookin for a DevOps Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines for our medical device software applications
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle for medical devices
• Oversee and optimize Azure-based cloud infrastructure for high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency in the medical device context
• Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support containerized applications for medical devices.
• Automate tasks and processes through scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring the reliability and safety of medical devices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3 years of experience in a DevOps role or related field, with a background in medical device development being highly advantageous.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps Services, with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for medical devices.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies, with a focus on Kubernetes and its application in medical device contexts.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills using tools like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with related tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines CI/CD)
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g. ARM templates, helm manifests).
• Solid knowledge of networking and security concepts, particularly as they relate to medical device cybersecurity.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Azure and Kubernetes certifications are a significant advantage
