Machine Learning Engineer

A startup company in the digital health sector is developing an end-to-end remote rehabilitation platform for neurological diseases.

The role involves development in React Native and Python, as well as developing ML algorithms. The company is located in central Israel and offers one day of remote work per week.

Responsibilities:

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Writing algorithms for video processing
• Porting algorithms from Python to other languages (e.g., JS/TS)
• Integrating these algorithms into the product
• Investigating and eliminating performance bottlenecks

Required skills:

• 3 years of proven experience with python
• 3 years of proven experience with REACT native
• Academic degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Deep understanding of algorithm performance considerations
• Experience of working with ML algorithms – a huge advantage
• Experience with Pose Estimation concepts – a huge advantage
• Experience with Swift/Objective C – an advantage
• Experience with Kotlin – an advantage
• Ability for self-learning and self-problem-solving
• Ability to work in a team
• Fluent written & spoken English
