Senior UI/UX Designer

We are a startup team within Papaya Gaming, a successful and established gaming company.

Our unit runs with full startup energy and agility, while benefiting from the stability and resources of Papaya. We’re building a social gaming platform – where games, challenges, and community come together in one engaging experience.

We are looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of a new social entertainment platform. You will join a team of product experts and engineers to build a product focused on viral content, community interaction, and competitive social mechanics.

We are looking for a high-energy, fast-paced designer who thinks outside the box and thrives on challenges. You will be expected to own the design process End-to-End: from initial product discovery and UX planning to high-fidelity UI and final delivery to development.

• Full Ownership (End-to-End): Manage the entire design lifecycle—starting with conceptual wireframes and UX strategy, through visual design, and ensuring a seamless hand-off to the engineering team.
• Gamified UX Mechanics: Translate complex social and competitive mechanics into intuitive and engaging user flows, utilizing gamified UX patterns to drive retention and participation.
• Product Design: Design high-stakes features such as multi-participant video feeds, live voting systems, and real-time social engagement tools.
• Visual Art Direction: Own the visual language of the product, ensuring a high-impact UI that stands out in the social media landscape.
• AI-Integrated Workflow: Proactively use AI tools and Figma plugins to optimize your process, accelerate asset generation, and iterate faster on UI components.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work as a strategic partner with the PM and Development teams to ensure design feasibility and pixel-perfect execution.

• 5+ Years of Experience: Senior-level experience in UI/UX for high-scale B2C products. Background in Social, Fintech, or Entertainment industries is a major advantage.
• Mobile First: Proven experience in designing complex mobile applications.
• Problem Solver: A "think outside the box" mindset with the ability to create unique and disruptive user experiences.
• Execution & Speed: High energy and the ability to work quickly in a fast-growing environment without compromising on quality.
• Advanced Tech Stack: Expert-level Figma skills. Proficiency in motion design (After Effects, Rive, or Lottie) is a significant plus.
• AI Proficiency: Practical experience using AI tools to streamline the design workflow and improve production efficiency.
• Strong Ownership: Ability to articulate design decisions to a professional team and take full responsibility for the product's design vision.
