Wanda Fish actively seeks enthusiastic and dedicated Research Assistants to join our dynamic R&D group specializing in cell biology, bioprocessing , and cellular agriculture.

As a Research Assistant, you will get on the ground floor of an exciting FoodTech startup, offering a unique and empowering learning experience. As part of Wanda Fish’s goal to develop delicious, cultivated fish filets, you will work ‘hands-on’ to implement R&D projects with our Media development and bioprocessing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing and executing lab techniques in cell biology and media development.

• Developing and standardizing cellular in-vitro assays.

• Evaluating and adopting lab practices and methods.

• Culture media preparation

• Writing scientific reports and procedures and data presentations to other R&D teams.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Life Sciences or a related field.

• Practical experience in animal cell culture and aseptic techniques.

• Experienced with methods of analysis and biological quantification.

• Knowledge and background in stem cell differentiation, metabolism, or bioreactor cell culture - an advantage.

• Other cell analytical methods, such as immunostaining, microscopy, and biomolecular techniques, are advantageous.

• Industry Experience - an advantage.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

This full-time position is in the Science Park, Ness Ziona, Israel (not far from the Rehovot train station).
