Director of Research And Evaluation

The Community Stress Prevention Center is seeking a Research and Evaluation Unit manager. Our research unit is dedicated to establishing knowledge and evaluating models and methods focused on resilience development, the effectiveness of trauma and anxiety treatments, and project efficiency in the field.

Our unit leads and supports various projects across multiple channels, collaborating fully with all CSPC units and researchers in Israel and worldwide. This challenging and meaningful role offers diverse involvement with substantial impact potential in resilience development and trauma treatment. It is a genuine opportunity for academics and practitioners to influence the field through research, learn from it, and advance it.

Role Definition:

- Managing routine research work, developing, and implementing new studies in emergency and routine settings.

- Collaborating on applied research to implement innovative models from Israel and abroad, conducting research partnerships with academia (Tel-Hai Academic College), defining research proposals for domestic and international funds, and publishing research findings in professional literature.

- Conducting internal evaluation processes to assess the efficiency of CSPC's services.

- Initiating and promoting efforts to establish a research institute in partnership with Tel-Hai Academic College, creating a new academic arena.

- Managing the work of the research coordinator and research assistants.

- Submitting proposals for research calls in the field.

- Establishing local and global partnerships, participating in international conferences as presenters and steering committee members, writing articles on development, and managing multidisciplinary teams.

- Promoting calls for proposals in the field.

Requirements:

- PhD degree.

- Employment experience in research.

- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.

- Availability for a full-time position.

Advantages:

- Master's degree in therapy, extensive experience in treatment and/or community work.

- Employment experience or background in model development and new technology use.

- Experience in managing a research/development team.

- Residency in the northern region.
