Mechanical Design Engineer - 714

Medinol is looking for a talented R&D Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative medical device company.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create, test, and/or improve products by developing experiments and tests (including writing and executing protocols), analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports, based on engineering principles
• Evaluate input and form a technical recommendation including stent designing
• Generate engineering models and drawings/prototypes, work instructions, test methods, etc., to establish/characterize product and/or process specifications
• Assign R&D support tasks; give instruction to technicians on conducting tests & assemblies; train technicians and provide feedback;

What We Need To See

• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering R&D
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering.
• Background in development of Bio-medical products.
• CAD Experience
• Self-motivated with a sharp learning curve and able to work independently and as a teammate.
• Strict attention to detail
• High awareness for quality and manufacturability.
• Strong documentation, communication (e.g., written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills
• Substantial understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to Engineering
• Experience in fixtures and jigs design for assembly.
