A startup in the Threat Hunting domain is developing a system that enables security teams to detect attackers, even those who leave no traces. The role is part of the core team that extracts data from the organization's sources, which is where everything begins.

Reporting to the team leader. Development is done in Scala, Spark, K8S, AWS, and Snowflake.

The company is funded with $118M across three rounds from top investors and venture capital firms.

They have 130 employees, are located in Tel Aviv near the train station, and offer up to two remote workdays per week.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer

• 3 years of hands-on experience in Big Data engineering with a focus on Scala/Java, Spark/Flink/Kafka.

• Experience with modern Data lakes/warehouses such as Snowflake and Databricks.

• Deep technical expertise in distributed systems, stream processing, and data modeling of large data sets.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure systems in a fast-paced working environment.

• Experience with data governance practices, data security, and performance & cost optimization containers, working with AWS services such as S3, EKS, and more.

• B.Sc. in computer science or an equivalent.
