Head of Product

Company Brief:

Our mission is to provide the Food Retail Industry with recommendations into their refrigeration operations and related financial processes. YOUTILIGENT uses dedicated hardware and AI technology to help our customers understand the actual and predictive cost of their operations in a way that traditional solutions can’t provide.

We are a startup based in Tel Aviv developing an AIOT solution to reinvent professional equipment management, and after closing a founding round we are excited and ready to push forward.

Why is what we do important? We focus on refrigeration as it is the second largest expanse in the Food Retail segment. Our cost monitoring approach changes a huge and traditional service industry. In addition, the solution contributes to various sustainability and circular economy models.

Role Description:

We are looking for a Head of Product, based in Israel, to be part of the management team.

Our candidate is someone who knows how to lead teams and enjoys being the company's focal point, since this job is all about leading internal teams, customers and partners, and improving the value of the product.

What you’ll be doing

1. You will be the focal point for both our internal teams (Dev, sales, support) and customers/partners
2. As a member of the management team, you will need to support business goals and lead the company to success 
3. Establish a data-driven approach to decision-making, ensuring product decisions align with recommendations generated by the product
4. Constantly analyze market trends, customer feedback to understand the weaknesses and strengths of the product, to constantly improve it.
5. Directly manage the support and project team (EU).
6. Lead product development including product roadmap, life cycle and launch.
7. Work closely with R&D, write spec documents, communicate and prioritize product requirements, features and development packages. 
8. Work closely with sales and marketing to support their efforts.
9. Travel to meet customers and partners when needed.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience as a product leader at an AI focused startup (or high-tech company) with B2B customers
2. 3+ Experience in direct multi-team management
3. Worked with HW & SW products, IoT devices, and used the data for dedicated AI analysis 
4. A proven track record of conducting research and analyzing data
5. Experience in writing detailed specs, roadmap and strategy documents
6. Excellent interpersonal communication skills
7. Fluent English is a must.
