Senior Algorithm Developer

Agile MRI is an up-and-coming startup founded in 2022 with the vision of making MRIs accessible to everyone by developing an affordable and compact scanner that can be placed at the doctor’s office. Our revolutionary approach will provide the patient with on-site diagnosis, saving them lengthy waiting periods and trips to the hospital or radiology center.

Agile MRI’s unique imaging method shifts the complexity from the hardware to the software by employing a more sophisticated reconstruction algorithm, capable of producing an accurate image from a low and non-uniform magnetic field.

Responsibilities

As part of our early team, you will take part in solving the exciting challenges of developing a low-field scanner that reliably operates in an unshielded room and in a broad range of environmental conditions.

The role spans several disciplines and involves:

-         Writing algorithms based on advanced signal processing and physics-driven deep learning to model the complex operating environment and produce clinically relevant MRI images.

-         Developing novel imaging techniques to get the best of the physics of low-field and implementing them in our hardware.

Qualifications

·        MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.

·        At least 5 years of proven experience in relevant fields.

·        Good proficiency in signal processing.

·        Good proficiency in deep learning.

·        Good programming skills in Python or Matlab.

·        Experience in solving complex optimization problems – advantage.
