Global Bookkeeper & Payroll Controller

what we’re looking for: Faye is seeking an experienced Global Bookkeeper and Payroll Controller to join our finance team. This position will be responsible for the analysis, execution, and support of payroll operations across our global team (Israel & US), ambitious, fast-learner, and be part of a startup on a rapid growth.

Responsibilities:

• Full ownership over the monthly & Bi-weekly payroll process, including ongoing maintenance, processing, and regulatory filings.
• Compliance with monthly and yearly reports (856/126/etc.)
• Take part in the onboarding of new employees and the termination process, including 161.
• Responsible for all accounting transactions, such as- bank & credit cards reconciliation, AP&AR reconciliation, accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, etc.
• Support the month-end closing process, posting cut-off JEs, etc.
• Lead and manage payment cycles for vendors, including approving invoices with the relevant stackholders, processing payments, recording relevant JEs, etc.
• Responsibility for monthly submissions to tax authorities (VAT, Income tax, National insurance, Tax on payroll)
• Review and record reimbursements of employee’s travel and expense reports
• Implementing in-house payroll software and processes.
• Assisting external auditors throughout the yearly audit and periodic reviews.
  
  

• A certified payroll controller with 5 years of experience in a payroll position and bookkeeping
• Certificate in accounting type 1+2 - Mandatory
• Familiar with payroll laws and regulations (IL & US)
• Experience in NetSuite ERP system and Priority - Mandatory
• Proven record in High-tech and/ or Global companies – an advantage.
• Excel proficency (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks on a timely manner.
• Excellent level of English, both verbal and written - Must
• Service-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to details and accuracy
