This position offers a hands-on learning experience in the field of electrical engineering within the construction industry. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced engineers and project managers to support various aspects of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and layout of electrical systems for construction projects.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather data for electrical system planning.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Assist in the procurement of electrical materials and equipment for construction projects.
• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical support during construction activities.
• Document project progress, issues, and resolutions for reporting purposes.
• Participate in meetings with project teams, contractors, and clients as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong technical and engineering aptitude.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum qualifications: Electrical Engineering student in 2nd year of studies. Availability to work a minimum 20 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, on site at Intel Kiryat Gat. Demonstrating Good understanding of electrical engineering principles and concepts. The candidate should also possess high level of English, proven leadership skills, ability to lead to results independently, problem solving, fast learner and ability for self-learning. Interpersonal skills and excellent teamwork as this position requires the ability to deal with several of stakeholders, suppliers, and trades. Preferred qualifications: Prior internship or co-op experience in construction or engineering.
