The Position
As a Clinical Medical Manager, you will facilitate the execution of clinical trials related to New Therapy Areas (including Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), Nephrology, Hepatology and Alzheimer’s disease) by providing medical/scientific expertise and advice based on interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), independent professional associations, and patient advocacy associations as necessary. This is a field position, you are expected to visit medical centers across the country, min. 60% of your working time.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Identify and map KOLs, investigators, and research centres within the relevant therapy areas and collaborate closely with the clinical operations teams during the feasibility and allocation process.
• Collect and discuss relevant early development data and regularly engage with the clinical experts in relevant Therapeutic Areas (TAs) to obtain guidance relevant to clinical trial execution.
• Contribute to delivering successful clinical trials in collaboration with clinical operations including driving scientific discussions at site selection and initiation visits, performing ad-hoc visits, ensuring KOL inclusion in clinical trials, and engaging key investigators to convey trial results.
• Provide timely medical guidance and internal training by helping in content creation and delivering training to the clinical staff.
• Engage in extensive scientific communication internally as well as externally.
  
  

Qualifications

You will thrive in this position if you possess the following attributes:

• MD or PhD in healthcare or related areas with strong clinical and preferably research background, alternatively Pharmacist or Master in Life Sciences with strong, relevant background.
• Minimum 2 years or more of clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical drug development processes. Relevant experience as an investigator or sub-investigator is preferred where applicable.
• Expert in the therapeutic area of relevance, authorship in peer-reviewed journals is an upside.
• Knowledge of the specificities and nuances of the local healthcare infrastructure.
• Excellent and proactive communications skills .
• Strong presentation skills.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.
