You will be responsible for managing all financial and compliance aspects within Schneider Israel, supporting and challenging the local management in the decision making process and making sure that all Local and Group Compliance requirements are correctly implemented.
Essential Responsibilities:
- the financial department (9people)
- as business partner, provides added value to other managers.
- manage the Accounting team (Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Customer Accounting, Cost accounting), interfacing with Local Authorities (External Auditors, Tax agents) and aligning with Group Accounting teams
- Controlling: coach and develop the Local Project Controller and take the lead on Transactional Business Controlling, supporting the business on Pricing strategy analysis, mix management and customer saturation
- Management and Treasury: lead the Credit management department (risk management and collection) and Treasury (operating treasury, hedging, bonds etc)
- Management: implement the Group procedures in terms of Risk Management, focusing on Solutions Business Policy, being a key player in the decision making process at Tendering and Execution phase
- Controls: optimize local procedures, making sure that are aligned with Group requirements, while adapting to the local context
- legal support together with external Lawyer.
- on long term and short terms contracts for expenses (Car lease, rent etc)
- user for Israel ERP .
interactions:
Reports to the Country manager, Member of the board of the company, Manage the financial department (9 team members).
Key stakeholder for Europe ops and all Finance Corporate functions
External:
Interaction with customers, suppliers, banks, tax authorities, external auditors, service providers etc
Required qualifications and skills:
- CPA or equivalent
- solid accounting skills
- experiences in Business Controlling (front offices, factories)
- understanding of Compliance and Internal Controls concepts
- good written and spoken English
- to work in a team, good collaboration and leadership skills
- to deal with different kind of profiles (salespeople, project managers, financial people etc)
- being able to adapt in a different culture
- versatile, active and proactive personality
