Java Team Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Team Leader to lead a significant team of passionate, talented, dynamic, and diverse engineers.

At MANIFESTO, our dedication lies in providing intelligent, technology-driven media-buying solutions that harness the power of machine learning and data analytics to redefine media-buying efficiency for brands & agencies. We develop an industry-leading and advanced online advertising platform that enables us to handle billions of service requests, auctions, and big-data events on a daily basis.

Your impact & mission:

This position includes a combination of technical and managerial responsibilities, leading an initial team of 4 developers while actively engaging in hands-on work:

● Support the growth and development of our engineering team, helping team members enhance their skills, knowledge, and overall effectiveness.

● Play an active part in shaping product strategy based on what’s technically possible (and make the impossible possible).

● Ensuring MANIFESTO meets its goals from an engineering standpoint.

● Taking charge of end-to-end software development for various components, leading the implementation of significant features within MANIFESTO's extensive, highly distributed solution.

● Tackling complex challenges while addressing large-scale, and high-performance requirements to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of our system continually, with a commitment to constant improvement.

● Constantly re-inventing and leveraging our infrastructures.

Your experience and skills:

● At least 6 years of experience developing Java complex systems.

● 3+ years’ experience as a Team Leader; Track record of leading a team with tight deadlines and short release cycles, encompassing responsibilities such as hiring, onboarding, and professional development.

● Proficiency in implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, methodologies, testing practices, and resolving blockages.

● Proven experience in working with both relational and non-relational DBs.

● Passionate about technology with a strong desire to deliver and succeed.

● Ability to write high-performance, maintainable, reusable code and designs.

Nice to have:

● Experience with Hibernate/JPA or similar.

● Experience in Angular.
