Information Technology Security Administrator

A data company specializing in identity and search, developing a platform that identifies personal information from social media and collects and consolidates it into a comprehensive profile. Currently, the company holds a database of about 3 billion individuals. Among its various applications are fraud prevention, locating missing persons, and supporting law enforcement investigations.

The role is part of a small IT team reporting to the HO IT & SysOps, operating in a cloud environment with GCP, and utilizing Linux, MacOS, and Windows systems. Scripting is done in Bash and Python.

Based in central Israel (near a train line), employees work in a hybrid model, spending three days at home. Globally, the company has 80 employees, with 50 based in Israel.

It is one of the leading companies in its field with no direct competitors.

Responsibility

● Deploy and configure infrastructure components (mostly on Google Cloud).

● Investigate and implement innovative IT solutions to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

● Ensure the integrity and security of workloads and endpoints through regular updates and patch management.

● Oversee and manage backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

● Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company's digital assets and sensitive information.

● Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

● Collaborate within a structured ticketing system, primarily in Tier 3 support capacity.

Requirements-

● 2-4 years of experience as system or security administrator.

● Experience with cloud-based platforms, preferably GCP.

●Experience with SaaS applications, specifically Google Workspace and JumpCloud.

● Proven hands-on experience in Linux, MacOS and Windows troubleshooting with good problem identification, resolution, and problem-solving skills.

● Experience with managing and configuring switches, FW, VPN, WAF, EDR and SSO protocols.

● Strong understanding of network protocols and security concepts.

● Experience with at least one of the following languages: Bash, Python.

● Experience with identity and access management (IAM), CSPM, CDR, SSPM - a plus.
