Backend Team Lead

A Fintech startup developing an innovative and advanced SaaS platform that alerts companies (B2B) to potential fraud in payment transfers and identifies process defects caused by human errors.

The company's platform is AI-based, user-friendly, streamlines the existing payment process, and helps prevent fraud incidents amidst the data volume and workload of daily operations, ensuring payments reach the right destination.

Role Overview: An opportunity to step into a leading role with managerial potential. Reporting to the Team Leader. Backend development in Python. The role includes professional and technological leadership, innovation, improvement, optimization, problem-solving, architecture, and design work.

Technologies: Python, AWS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices. The company is located in Tel Aviv, near a train line, with a hybrid work model (two days from home), and has about 45 employees worldwide, with 25 in the R&D department.

Requirements

• Two years of Experience as Tech Lead.

• 6 years of Experience in Backend development

• 4 years of Experience in Python development

• Experience working in an agile R&D team

• Experience building scalable, performance optimal microservices using Python

• Experience with at least one Python web framework

• Proficient working with MongoDB, Postgres/MariaDB

• Proficient in working with Containers, Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD tools

• High architecture-level design and understanding of large-scale systems

• Able to work independently or as an integral part of a collaborative team
