Product Manager

About The Role

We are looking for a driven, passionate, self-motivated Product Manager who wants to work on a SaaS product in a fast-paced environment and make a daily impact on thousands of Design and Construction professionals world-wide.

Our product team is specifically focused on B2B SaaS for Design and Build firms with a suite of tools covering Design, Project Management, Financial Management and Marketing.

As a Product Manager specializing in Accounting and Reports, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and enhancement of the Accounting and Reporting initiatives within our product ecosystem. You will play a crucial role in shaping the financial management capabilities of our product, ensuring it meets the needs of our users and aligns with our overall business objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and goals related to Accounting and Reports track
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback analysis to identify opportunities and prioritize features.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and PMM to translate requirements into actionable user stories and specifications.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on ROI, user impact, and strategic alignment.
• Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
• Advocate for a seamless and intuitive user experience for Accounting and Reporting initiatives
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from our customers and their accounting and bookkeeping partners
• Work closely with our Data team to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounting and reporting features.
• Communicate product updates, roadmap, and strategy to internal stakeholders including executives, engineering teams, and customer support.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging and positioning.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field;
• 3+ Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on financial products or accounting software.
• Experience with 3rd party integrations, defining integration specifications, API documentation and data mapping requirements
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex products/features to market.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems, notably Quickbooks and Xero
• Experience working in a SaaS
  
  

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to financial reporting (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) is a plus.
