Lab and Clean Room Manager

NewPhotonics is disrupting data center processing with novel photonic engines solving the power and performance challenges. We are looking for a Lab and Clean Room Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization. The successful candidate for this position has a track record of strength and aptitude relevant to the following areas:

• Planning and setting up experiments that combine RF and photonics in a laboratory and in a clean room.
• Development and introduction of automation processes in the laboratory and experiments
• Participation in the company's development process.
• Run simulations and compare to experiments.
• Operation of advanced laboratory equipment.
• Cooperation with other employees for the purpose of carrying out the tasks.
• Maintenance of the equipment and its use according to the company's policy.
• Training other employees to operate the equipment.
• Writing laboratory reports
  
  

• 2+ years experience with running experiments in photonic lab
• Hands-on approach
• Experience with building lab automation (e.g. scripting, Python)
• Experience with photonic equipment.
• Experience with RF equipment.
• Running tests in a clean room
• Experience with implementation and improvement of engineering processes
• Effectively manage a volume of work across multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Demonstrates a high level of commitment and drive for excellence,
• Generates enthusiasm among the team.
