Position Summary

As a medical device company, we are committed to high standards and developing state of the art products. We are looking for an experienced biomedical engineer to join our R&D team and work closely with the sensors project manager on multiple tasks/ projects as we make progress with HYLATM and additional sensors in an earlier stage of development. This is a full-time position with an exciting variety of activities including work on beta-sites upon demand, data analysis and lab experiments (with blood).

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments as part of the sensors research and development.
• Hands-on during lab operations that include integrated multidisciplinary equipment - mechanics, fluid-flow, controllers, electro-mechanics, SW.
• Perform active research such as exploring new technologies and literature review to understand the technical feasibility and potential of new technologies or ideas.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including technical specifications, test protocol and reports.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanics, software etc.
• Work on beta-sites – responsibility for product operation, data collection, data analysis and feedback collection from the medical-staff.
  
  

• Biomedical engineer with 1-2 years of experience, preferably from a medical device company
• Hands on experienced with a ‘wet’ R&D lab – an advantage
• Strong technical capabilities (HW/SW/Mechanics) – A MUST
• Familiar with optical sensors/ optical devices – an advantage
• Experience in programming language and data analysis (python) - an advantage
• Well organized and detail oriented with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Self-starter & self-motivated with a “whatever it takes” attitude
• Peoples’ person & team player – we love working together!
• Well familiar with MS Office
• English in high level – A MUST
