Responsibilities:

• Full time job in the IT department. This is an onsite position in the office in Jerusalem next to the train and bus stations.
• Become an integral part of the global IT team that’s in charge of maintaining servers and equipment in Israel, New York, London and Tokyo.
• A high-tech company in Jerusalem is looking for an IT engineer for a full-time job.
• We are looking for a self sufficient, goal motivated person.
• Location of work in Jerusalem.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience of at least 5 years including at least 2 years with Linux OS is a must.
• Experience in managing and maintaining organization computer infrastructure, must have requirements:
• Experience with Linux Operating System: installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Experience with Windows 10 & 11 OS: installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Experience in giving technical support, software installation, information systems and troubleshooting software and hardware problems.
• Acquisition experience, ordering equipment and communication with different suppliers.
• Independent self managed working and solving problems capabilities.
• High level of English and Hebrew both written and verbal.

Advantage:

• Experience with Virtual Machines and Virtual Desktops (VMware).
• Experience with physical servers and remotely supporting them.
• Experience with Windows Server OS: installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Experience configuring WiFi hotspots.
• Experience working with switches and routers, experience working in communication cabinets.
• Understanding of computer networks: LAN, WAN, VoIP, etc.
• Experience working with firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience working with monitoring tools, storage equipment.
