Your Job Purpose:

As a Wet Mechanical Superintendent working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Kiryat Gat, Israel.

You will coordinate with the construction manager, engineers, and various contractors while driving trades to meet schedule deadlines. They will be responsible for the safe and code compliant installation of Wet Mechanical equipment.

Your Job Description:

• In depth knowledge on Wet Mechanical systems which include but are not limited to Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers etc.
• Commissioning experience on Boilers, Chillers, Pumps or Fans would be an advantage.
• Understand the subcontractor’s scope of work and responsibilities.
• Understand construction documents for interpretation of specification requirements and system installation.
• Responsible for delivering construction projects globally using multiple project delivery and execution strategies at a competitive advantage.
• Develops discipline scope and engineering solutions which include schedule, budget, and safety requirements for assigned construction projects.
• Leads interdisciplinary coordination efforts and collaborates closely with other disciplines to ensure delivery of a complete, approved, coordinated scope across a project.
• Lead the process from design through to handover to client.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: must be able to work closely with owners, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Experience in Chiller System Installation and Commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of wet Mechanical Systems - plumbing, fire protection, industrial piping.
• Ability to work closely with trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential and being able to maintain a cooperative attitude through pressure situations.
• Skill in handling several work activities at once while frequently interrupted by phone calls and urgent questions on work in progress.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) etc.

Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
