QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Be part of a product oriented squad and define acceptance criteria as part of the TDD and “shift left” best practices
• Work closely with the product manager, QA automation and other squad members in order to deliver quality product
• Be the Squad quality officer, make sure the product features are released in their best quality
• Be part of the release approval process based on the feature quality while pushing to automate the procedures
• Design the test plans for a complicated financial SAAS product, build and execute them
• Investigate product quality to make improvements and ensure our high-quality standards
• Coordinate with the product team and uphold cross-team documentation

Requirements

• B.Sc. or Master degree in any related technical fields || Practical relevant experience
• 5+ years as QA Engineer
• Experience with QA methodologies and documentation standards (STD, STP, Sanity, etc.)
• Experience and solid understanding of web and mobile application architectures, technologies, and protocols (e.g., HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful APIs)
• Experience in web testing
• Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
• Familiar with Databases and SQL capabilities
• Experience in security and cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) testing
• Familiar with Gherkin syntax
• Familiarity with cloud platforms for seamless integration of testing into the CI/CD workflow
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills in English

Advantage

• Experience in mobile (Android & iOS), as part of a complex cloud based product
• Hands-on experience with Jira and XRAY addon specifically
