Software Architect

A startup company in the defensive cyber field, specializing in multidisciplinary aerial defense, is developing an aerial defense system against drones with core technology based on cyber solutions. The system provides any organization that wants to protect its airspace with an effective solution. The product can be described as an advanced "Iron Dome" for drones.

Role Description: Part of the development team, reporting to a senior architect, hands-on (HO) role. Stack: C++/Python/SDR/DSP/Microservices/End-to-End Systems. The company is located in

Tel Aviv near a train station, incorporates a hybrid work model with two days a week from home, and has 70 employees.

Responsibility

• Define engineering specifications and architectural approaches

• Provide architectural oversight and technical guidelines to engineering teams

• Lead and participate in the design and high-level architecture for large or complex features

• Brainstorm ideas for new features and capabilities (and possible ways to implement them) as well as drive the technical backlog in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering leadership

• Solve complex challenges around high scale data processing, algorithmic solutions, and customer enhancements

• Define high-level architecture for new product lines and help adapt the current architecture dynamically to the changing needs.

• Define APIs and division of responsibilities between the different teams.

Requirements-

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• More than 7 years of experience in R&D with at least 2 years in a development architecture position/ Tech Lead

• Strong design and development experience.

• Maintain and communicate a big system view

• Experience with embedded systems

• Relevant technologies: C++/Phyton/SDR/DSP/microservices/end to end systems

• Team Player, ability to work with both product and engineering teams

• Must balance design principles with agile state of mind
