Job Summary: Senior DevOps Engineer

We're looking for a Senior DevOps & Cloud Architect to join our R&D team. In this position, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based container orchestration system using Kubernetes. This system will automate software deployment across cloud and edge units. You'll collaborate closely with our development teams to architect, deploy, and operate scalable systems, ensuring that our technical environment meets the organization's operational and developmental needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the company’s deployment and execution architecture for cloud and edge applications
• Lead the design and development of cloud solutions for CI/CD
• Design the overall virtual private cloud (VPC) environment including server instances, storage instances, etc.
• Guide and assist development teams in the design, development, testing, and deployment of secure cloud applications.  
• Monitor application performance and implement necessary changes to optimize costs and performance.
• Test and deploy services and applications.

Requirements:

• 5+ years proven experience in cloud software architecture and IoC (Infrastructure as Code), as well as, workflows for software deployment and orchestration using Kubernetes
• Experience with serverless architectures, microservices, cloud services and containerization technologies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong understanding of cloud service providers, such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools, IoT, Ansible, Github Actions and Azure devops. Continuous delivery solutions, like Flux.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or .NET.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
