We are looking for an experienced and passionate senior manager to spearhead our platform engineering groups and assume responsibility for driving the development of our scalable production infrastructure, from ideation to execution, while championing continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

As a senior member of our R&D organization, you will spearhead the development of our cloud SaaS fund-accounting platform infrastructure, incorporating big data technologies and multi-services architecture for production at scale.

You will lead a group of experienced infrastructure developers across backend, frontend, automation and DevOps domains, aiming to build the platform from design to production.

Your role requires versatility and energy to inspire your groups to excel in various technologies including multi-cloud, big-data, no-SQL, backend and frontend.

Lead by example, inspire, and motivate the groups (~30 engineers) by fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation, and positive thinking to meet their development targets.

In this position, you will report to the CTO and collaborate with the Applicative R&D team, Product, and Delivery leaders to define the platform's architecture and technological roadmap.

You will also work with IT directors of large customer organizations.

Requirements:

• Successful experience in leading platform development for production-grade products in SaaS companies
• A minimum of 8 years of software leadership positions, managing at least 30 engineers as a group manager or higher seniority roles.
• Experience managing groups in startups and thriving in a fast-paced growth environment.
• Experienced with large-scale, cloud-based applications, and distributed information. systems, including diverse cloud-based technologies, such as: Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, Kassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, and with frameworks in the Java ecosystem.
• Experience working with web technologies, such as: React, NodeJS, TypeScript, and Functional programming.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• A robust technical development background with a hands-on mentality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively working with cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in scaling engineering teams, including attracting, hiring, mentoring, and fostering team growth.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from leading universities.
• Knowledge in the fields of Finance and Accounting is a significant advantage.
• Fluency in English and Hebrew
