Mechanical team lead

Job description:

Exodigo is in search of a Mechanical Team Lead. In this role, you will supervise and mentor a team of 3-5 engineers, fostering both their professional development and personal well-being. You will work hand-in-hand with the Hardware, Algo, and Field Operation teams, striving to enhance every facet of our diverse product range according to each team's specifications.

Your position involves close collaboration with hardware and electronics engineers in the creation of integrated, multidisciplinary systems and products. You will spearhead the development of new products, from the ideation phase through POCs and DRs, culminating in the final delivery.

Working in harmony with the Procurement, Logistics and Manufacturing teams is vital to facilitate a seamless transition from R&D to production. As a team, you will engage in hands-on prototyping and establish test assemblies to validate design concepts. Your role also includes the proactive identification and mitigation of risks, harmonizing the creation of new products with the maintenance and production of existing ones.

Requirements:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering - Must
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in CAD softwares - Must
• Experience in DFM for 3D printing, machining & sheet metal fabrication - Must
• Experience in collaborating with hardware and electronics engineers - Must
• Experience working on multidisciplinary systems and products
• Hands-on capabilities for prototyping and test setup design and assembly
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in written communication
• Experience in leading and managing an engineering team of at least 5 engineers at a startup company - Must
• Experience in designing mechanical/electro-mechanical systems for outdoor/military use - an advantage
• Experience in PCB design and electronics packaging - an advantage
• Experience working with PDM software - an advantage
