Financial Modeling Manager

Description

Fiverr is seeking a highly skilled Financial Modeling Manager to join our FP&A team. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in financial modeling and hands on experience with large data sets and SQL. In this role, you will play a crucial role in modeling revenues for our different business units and developing financial models for new initiatives and products.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making regarding strategic initiatives, capital investments, and potential acquisitions. FP&A DD and modeling on potential M&As opportunities
• Translate business ideas and requirements into easy to understand financial models to support decision making.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, be a trusted financial partner to foster trust and collaboration
• Become a subject matter expert on the relationship between new member acquisition, retention, engagement and the overall business; understand and analyze related market & channel trends. Use this knowledge to have actionable insights, and improve forecast accuracy
• Deliver analytics projects and assist in the creation and brainstorming of business models and go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and initiatives. Assist on the development and analysis of new initiatives through detailed revenue sizing, KPI outputs, short/long-term ROI planning and risk assessments
• Partner with the accounting team to support the month-end close process
• Conduct variance analysis to compare budgeted/forecasted results against actuals to improve forecast accuracy and identify trends and recommend actions to management
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic consulting, strategic finance, investment banking, or management consulting roles
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with big data analysis
• Advanced SQL - ability to create and understand Fiverr data structure, and the relationship between tables, and create complex queries
• Proven ability to build financial models and conduct advanced financial analysis
• Ability to articulate ideas and conclusions clearly and effectively. Experienced discussing and presenting the financial forecast to an audience of senior executives across the organization
• Demonstrated experience in forming successful business partnerships and providing insightful leadership across various functions
• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills
• Degree in Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related analytical field
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments with limited instructions.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in economics
• Experience with statistical models in Python or R
• Experience with financial planning tools
• Learns and adopts new tools (Python, Tableau, Google Apps Script, serious usage of ChatGPT, etc.)
