DevOps Engineer

anan tools specializes in helping companies reduce their cloud computing costs and save thousands of dollars per month on infrastructure. They company itself and the majority of clients are located in Tel Aviv district.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a freelance DevOps Engineer at anan tools to help us provide CI/CD and FinOps implementation services to our clients. The role will be based on clients-site mainly in Tel Aviv.

Some of the tasks you will perform:

• Design and implement comprehensive Hybrid Cloud solutions that span from infrastructure to end-user devices.
• Integrate the newest CI/CD technologies, such as Pipelines, Containers, and Public Clouds, while incorporating best practices. 
• Develop detailed high and low-level design documents, including procedural documentation. 
• Install and configure Hybrid Cloud solutions within project scopes. 
• Provide technical support, ensuring timely fault resolution and feedback to meet Service Level Agreements. 
• Assume responsibility for patching and upgrading projects across diverse Hybrid Cloud environments. 
• Conduct testing of emerging technologies, identify suitable use cases with clients, and lead Proof of Concept (POC) activities. 
• Stay up-to-date with Hybrid Cloud advancements through documentation, LAB tests, and maintaining required certifications.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Argo, Jenkins, Kubernetes, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. Microservices, Ecosystems (Helm, customize, Linkerd, etc.), 
• Strong experience with GCP and/or AWS.
• Scripting and development experience with Python, Bash or similar.
• Solid Skillset with CI/CD pipelines and proven experience building pipelines that support the company’s and developers' needs.
• Proficient with IaC and a strong experience with automation tools like Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring tools and data/logs analytics tools such as Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana.
• Solid understanding of Linux OS.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and problem analysis skills.
• Understanding cloud security concepts and a strong experience maintaining a secure SaaS environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hebrew.
