Email was invented in the late 1960s. Nowadays, 125 billion work emails are sent and received every day, and email is one of the three most important channels for a business.

Spam filters guard us from unwanted emails, but those are not perfect. Spam filters do make mistakes, and sometimes legitimate messages are incorrectly identified as spam.

Organizations consider legitimate messages incorrectly identified as spam a much larger problem than the occasional spam message that manages to sneak past the filter. The rare spam message that makes it to an end user’s inbox can be quickly deleted, while false positives cost a lot.

Warmy.io uses Artificial Intelligence to make the email channel more reliable.

We are a global team of 40 professional women and men, with development centers in Israel and Ukraine. We love working together as a team where each individual matters. We are curious, fast and bold, and we like to keep things simple and beautifully designed. 

We are growing fast and are now looking for our first finance manager to take over all things finance A to Z and help us improve. This role is currently part time (50%), based remotely in Israel and reporting to the CEO. 

What you’ll do:

• Organize and streamline our financial processes
• Maintain on-going connections with our bookkeeping, payroll and external audit services, provide them with the relevant information on a timely manner and review their work
• Set a light-weight yet useful budget planning and forecasting mechanism, and regularly provide actual vs. budget analysis and reports
• Come up with tax benefits ideas, and set the process independently with advisors and tax authorities
• Own collection from customers and payments to service providers and contractors. This may involve US time-zone phone calls
• Initiate and execute efficiencies and cost reduction activities, as well as negotiate agreements
• Contribute to pricing setting and profitability measurement

You’re a great candidate if you are:

• A Big-4 graduate accountant, with at least 1 year experience in the hi-tech industry, specifically in start-ups
• A self-starter and self-learner, highly motivated and results oriented
• A very good English speaker
• You have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ready to work part-time
• Excited to join our remote, dynamic, growing global team and contribute to our unique culture
